Ticket Booth: 2 positions

This is a key job with Spade Entertainment as it is sometimes the first point of contact a ticket holder has with the venue, so appearance and customer service skills are extremely important. It can also be a stressful and fast-paced job. Essential duties are selling tickets and answering questions about the show/venue. The ticket staff must have excellent communication skills and be familiar with venue policies and procedures. You must also have excellent computer skills and be able to operate our ticket platform…training will be provided. The ticket booth also acts as our Lost & Found for the venue.

Typical Event Hours:  5pm – 11pm (sometimes one shift will move to another position)

Greeter/Ticket Scanner:  5 – 6 positions

We deliver high energy shows and we want our ticket holders to feel welcome and excited about our events…their first point of contact is you and it’s essential that you greet each person with a smile, welcoming them in with kindness and high energy, regardless of how hot it may be or how busy and stressful it may get. You will be assigned to either the GA gate or the VIP gates during our briefings prior to each show/event. You will be scanning tickets and placing wristbands on all VIP attendees. You must be knowledgeable of venue policies and procedures and look for any issues prior to scanning tickets in order to give the ticket holder time to adjust…i.e. no high-back lawn chairs (only beach chairs unless they are ADA, then must inform them where those sections are located in the venue), no backpacks, no food/snacks, one sealed water bottle per person, clear bags ONLY, etc.  Must be able to operate our scanners…training will be provided.

Typical Event Hours:  5:30pm – 11pm (sometimes can be split shifts with other duties)

Setup/Takedown Crew:  4 – 5 positions

The setup and takedown crew are so important to the success of the event. Typically arriving hours before the event, you will be setting up various items such as tents, tables, chairs and more. We pride ourselves on a well put-together event, so this position is vital to ensuring an organized and clean atmosphere for the attendees. You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and have the ability to work in the heat of the day, follow direction and work quickly and efficiently. Our equipment is expensive and, therefore, needs it to be treated with care and respect, so we expect our crews to handle all equipment gently, ensuring they are set up and put away with care and neatly placed in their intended area (mistreatment of equipment will not be tolerated). Typically, our setup crew works both shifts and will often stay for the show between shifts. Sometimes there are other duties we can use you for during the show and, in that case, you will receive time and a half. This is negotiable and will depend on need.

Typical Event Hours:

Setup:  12noon – 5pm

Teardown:  10pm – 1am

Merch Seller/Cashier:  1 – 3 positions

You will be working the booth for both Spade Entertainment and the Artists merchandise. This position will require you to do inventory at the beginning and end of your shift and display, pick and sell items to concert attendees during the event. You will be trained on the iPad program we’ll be using to log and sell merchandise. Must have great communication skills, excellent customer service skills, strong attention-to-detail skills and do well under pressure managing multiple customers all while maintaining a pleasant smile.

Typical Event Hours:  5:30pm – 11:30pm (may run later depending on event)

Beverage Station Cashier: (non-alcoholic) 2 – 3 positions

This position entails selling non-alcoholic drinks to event attendees (water, soda, etc.). You will be doing inventory at the beginning and end of your shift and be responsible for maintaining stock and ice in the beverage carts. Must have great communication and customer service skills, be energetic and efficient…always providing service with a smile.

Typical Event Hours:  5:30pm – 10pm

Bar Cashier:  3 – 4 positions

This is a very fast-paced job that requires high energy, the ability to work quickly and efficiently and maintain patience, all while providing excellent customer service with a smile. Using our special venue software, you will take drink orders, check ID’s (if they don’t have a wristband) and issue drink tickets.

Typical Event Hours:  5:30pm – 10pm

VIP Server:  3 – 4 positions

Our VIPs are some of our most important ticket holders because they have paid a premium for their ticket and often are some of our sponsors. We are looking for experienced servers with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude (think Disney). This position will have you working in the heat and doing a lot of walking back and forth, attending to our VIPs and their requests, taking meal/drink orders and checking ID’s if no wristband is present. Must be 21 and older.

Typical Event Hours:  5:30pm – 10pm

VIP Host:  2 positions

As a VIP host you will welcome people to the VIP area (the Scenic Club and the Token Farms Lounge) while checking their tickets/credentials and maintain vigilance to ensure only ticketed VIPs are coming in and out. You must be knowledgeable about the offerings in the VIP area, the show/event and all the venue policies and procedures. You must be able to stand for long periods of time in the heat. You must have excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional appearance, gracious attitude and a smile at all times.

Typical Event Hours:  5:30pm – 11pm

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our team!
